The photovoltaics industry is one of the most dynamic industries in the
world. With an average annual growth rate of at least 22 % during the last
ten years - other sources say 29 % (IEA) or more - photovoltaics has become
a very promising market. According to the assessments of industry experts
the strong growth will continue. The forecasts anticipate 16 to 20 % (Sarasin
Bank), 20 to 25 % (RWE Schott Solar) or even 27 to 34 % (Greenpeace).
